Allama Iqbal Open University has two methods to get admission in any program, one is online through the official website of Allama Iqbal Open University and the other is through post office students choose one of these methods. The University collects the application submitted in both these ways and confirms the admission after reviewing all the documents.
And if the student is not eligible for admission, the university will objection to his admission and if the documents are according to the eligibility criteria of admission, then the university will confirm the student’s admission. So students need to check whether the admission is confirmed or not.

If you want to check your admission confirmation status online through the official website of Allama Iqbal Open University, then follow all the steps given below.
- First of all, Allama Iqbal Open University official website is https://www.aiou.edu.pk/.
- On the home page of the official website of Allama Iqbal Open University, you will be shown many options, but you have to click on the option of Admission (OAS).
- Then a new window will open in front of you after you click on the section of Application for New Admission, and enter your email and password. This will be the email and password that you gave to Allama Iqbal Open University while filling out the online form. If you have sent your admission through the post office, then this email address and password will have been sent to you via SMS by the university.
- A new screen will open in front of you, in which you have to check the application status and admission status. If it says Verified, then it is OK, and next to it, there will be an Open button to click on. After that, all the information related to your admission will be displayed in front of you.
- In which you will be shown your picture and below it, if you have been given the user ID and password of the CMS portal, it means that your admission has been confirmed.
