- You can only change optional subjects through application, compulsory subjects will not be changed in any case.
- If you want to change the subject, you have to pay a fee of Rs 300 per subject.

For generating aiou subject change challan form follow all the steps given below.
- First visit this link https://online.aiou.edu.pk/challan/.Select the option of the student into the depositor type and click the button of next.
- Then a new window will open in front of you, In this window you should need to enter your RollNo, Name, Father Name, Select Category and Select Program.
- In the Select Category selection, you need to select the option of subject Change Fee.
- Then you have to select how many subjects you want to change in the box below. If you want to change a subject, you will write one. And if you want to change two subjects, then after selecting two, click on the download section. You can pay this challan form through any bank or online banking app.
AIOU subject Change Application Through CMS Portal
The next step is to submit the subject change application through the CMS portal, which is explained step-by-step below.
- After you log in to the CMS portal with the user ID and password, you will reach the home page of the CMS portal.
- On the home page of the CMS portal, you will be shown several option boxes from which you have to select the Student Service Request option.
- You will see a Create New Request box, after clicking on it you will be taken to a new window in which you will be shown three options, but you have to click on other fee challan service.
- After clicking on the next button you will be asked your program and then a new window will open in front of you in which you have to enter all the information regarding your subject and why changed your subject.
- Then after clicking on the add attachment button, you have to upload the receipt of the paid challan form.
